Henry Morrill of Salisbury was a Captain in Col. Caleb Cushing’s regiment, which marched April 20, 1775 in response to the alarm of April 19. By 1776, he was Lieutenant Colonel, Col. Timothy Pickering’s regiment, and later under col. Jacob Gerrish’s regiment. He was on a muster roll of field and staff officers at Winter Hill, January 22, 1778.
