Frank Morrill enlisted as a Sergeant on 27 July 1861 at the age of 20 in Company A, 3rd Infantry Regiment New Hampshire. He was promoted to First Sergeant in 1862, 2nd Lieutenant in 1863, and First Lieutenant in 1864. He died from wounds on 13 July 1864.
