2. Betsey Morrill Spencer, Hibbard Morrill and His Descendants (Middlebury, Vt.: Press of Seymour Brothers, 1910). Ms. Spencer claims that Hibbard Morrill, b. Dec 5 1759, was the son of Timothy Morrell. This is contradicted by Hoyt, Morrill Kindred, and S. Hampton Vital Records, who all agree that Hibbard’s parents are Nathaniel and Elizabeth (French) Morrill.
