Her burial rests on a Find a Grave Index entry for which no stone photograph has been seen, and her birthplace is given only as Missouri. Her mother is entered as Wilhelmine with the surname unknown: the 1867 marriage entry calls her Mrs Wilhelmine Muller, so Muller was a surname from an earlier marriage and her maiden name is not known.
