Married name and second family: the Find a Grave Index entry for Dorthea Hansen Jorgenson (b. 25 Feb 1843, d. 10 Aug 1879, buried Peoa Cemetery; the stone reads 11 Aug for the death and 24 Feb for the birth) is read as hers because both dates and the Peoa place agree with this record. Her children by Andrew Jorgenson, Hyrum Andrew (b. 14 May 1874, Peoa) and Dorothy (b. 1879, Peoa), name their mother Dortha Larson, Dorothy Larsen or Dorthea Larsen on their own records; only the grave reads Hansen. The surname conflict (Hansen against Larsen) is not resolved here. Dorothy was born in 1879, the year of her mother’s death.[2]
