Henry G. Morgan and Harriet ____
Husband
Henry G. Morgan
- Born
- EST 1808[1] at Maine
needs independent verification: birth year 1808 and birthplace Maine are estimated from his age (42) in the 1850 census; no birth or christening record has been located for this person.[2]
Wife
Harriet ____
- Born
- EST 1817[3] at Maine
needs independent verification: birth year 1817 and birthplace Maine are estimated from her age (33) in the 1850 census, where she is recorded only as ‘Harriot’ with no surname given. Surname ‘Holmes’ is not adopted here: it comes only from Find a Grave memorial 90835671’s contributor-entered biography (a different, lower-tier source than the census, and a lead rather than an independent record of her birth family), so the mother is named ‘Harriet /Unknown/’ per convention pending a record that independently establishes her maiden surname.[4]
