Identity: the Find a Grave Index gives Mary Kate Morrell Potts, born 24 December 1897, died 7 October 1970, buried at Shipley Cemetery, where her parents and siblings lie; the tree has her born DEC 1897 (Sullivan Co., Tennessee) and dead in 1970, and married to Charles Edgar Potts, whom the Sullivan County index names as her husband on 29 Aug 1914 (sibling index lines print 28 Aug 1914, the same license). Another Tennessee Morrell of 1897 (Margaret B., unmarried, Michael Jackson’s daughter) does not fit.[4]
NOTE: needs independent verification: the birth day rests on a Find a Grave Index entry (QUAY 1); a Tennessee delayed birth record, Social Security application (NUMIDENT) or the memorial’s stone would confirm 24 Dec 1897.
