Fairbrother is the surname of her first documented husband, Clarence Fairbrother (m. 1942), and Creeden that of Norman Henry Creeden (m. 1951). The 1951 New Hampshire marriage index entry cited in the tree calls the bride Zana Mertie Fairbrother, aged 30, names her parents as Frank Richardson and Thurza Day, and gives the state of New Hampshire but no town; the birth about 1921 estimated from that age is replaced by the exact date 25 November 1920. A Find a Grave Index entry gives her name as Zana Mertie Richardson Creeden and her death as 29 November 2001. A Maine marriage index entry records a marriage on 25 December 1938 of Zana M Richardson of Newport to Llewellyn E Woodard of Palmyra. It names no parents or birth date, so it is placed with her only by name and town; it would be a first marriage at the age of 18, a few months after her Social Security application of August 1938.
