I am answering your ancestry line. I caught a couple of errors. I am of the Morrill blood line. My Grandfather was Ralph Burnette Morrill. He died in Linden, California not San Jaquine, Ca. He was married to CORALYN Marie Jacot. Coraline is incorrect. They had two daughters Janice and Coralyn L Morrill. Coralyn L married John Fuller of Reno Nv. At that time my Father worked for his Father DR. John Fuller at Nevadas first fish hatchery in Verdi NV. He later worked at the railway Express, and then a pharmaceutical sales man. Janice married Allen Mathews officer in the Navy. She was a teacher in Hawaii and he was a Navel Officer. They were married in Hawaii I believe. They were in Hawaii when world war II broke out. Janice came state side, Allen fought in the war. Janice died in 1962, in LaJola, Ca. I have old photos of Ralph, Coralyn M, and Janice and Coralyn L. I also have a photo of FloraMorrill when she was a nurse. My Grandmother Coralyn Marie Jacot was born in San Francisco 1890. She died in 1992 in Quincy,Ca. ( 102+ years old) Her daughter is Coralyn Laverne Morrill born in 1914 Oakland, died June 29th 2011in Reno, NV (97 years old). I have a photo of Flora Lucinda Ayres. My Mother said she was Mrs. Hiram Morrill. I believe she was Ralph and Elmers Mother along with other sisters and brothers. Mother gave me the photo when she was 97. I have a wedding photo of Coralyn L Morrill in 1909 when she married Ralph. I believe, My Great Uncle was the Elmer Flint Morrill. His daughters name was Flora Morrill. She was about 4 years older than my Mother. Cousin Flora was born in about 1909 Oakland, died from cancer in 1998 in Sacramento, Ca. She was the head nurse at Mercy Hospital For 30 years. She never had children. She married at age 50 and her husband Robert Mc Cullough died about 6 years after their marriage. She was married once. Flora and Robert were married in Reno, NV. I went to the wedding. Morrill Ct in Piedmont (Oakland) was built by the Morrill brothers. They were investors. I only know two names: Elmer Flint and Ralph Burnette. I don’t have the memories I used to have. I am 70 years old and disabled somewhat. I was told by my Mother Ralph(her Father) died when I was a baby from a stroke. My Mother Coralyn Laverne, never worked but was active in PEO, Eastern Star, Daughter of the Nile, DAR and Garden Club. I have one brother John A. Fuller. Aunt Janice had two daughters, both born in California: Joan Murrey of Illinois and Julie Matthews of Boston Mass (She is a Doctor and kept her professional maiden name). All of my NEW family tree is here in Nevada with the exception of my two cousins in Illinois. and Mass. I would like to trace my Great Grandfather Jacot and his Irish wife? He died in about 1896 and this sounds crazy, but two of the Morrill women took my Grandmother in as an orphan and I don’t remember (know) who they were. They lived on a farm in The Freemont area of California. But in those days the little towns had a different names. All the little towns were engulfed by Freemont and Hayward. My Great Aunts raised cows and grew their own food. Both Aunts were on the Morrill side. I always felt it was an arranged marriage between Ralph and Coralyn. I really don’t Know for sure. Ralph was 14-16 years older than my Grandmother who was a beauty! My Mother in her last days said her Mother’s Mothers maiden name was Ayres…..?????????????????????????? ( on Coralyn L Jacot side.) Do you know anything about the Ayres family tree? My Grandmother was 1/2 Irish and 1/2 French. My Great Grand Mother and Great Grand Father got a divorce. She remarried and He. he took my Grandmother to raise. He Died, and the Morrill’s raised her. My Grandmother was told her Mother was dead all her life. She went to one of her distant Aunt’s funeral, and at the Aunts funeral my Grandmother was told the Aunt was her Mother that was being buried. This is a skeleton in the Morrill closet. I do not know why My Grandmother was told her Mother died when she was about 4 or why the Morrils raised her at her Father’s request. My Great Grand Father had cancer and that is what he died from. I do know that her Father was a close friend of the Morrills and they were relatively wealthy. He probably felt they could raise her with a better life than his x-wife could. Everything was kept secrete from my Grandmother. She thought her Mother was dead until 1939 at the funeral. She was stricken by the news. She never talked about it. ever. My Mother and Father were at the funeral and so my Mother heard the news there. My Mother never spoke about this but once to me, It was hushed up. Divorces were unheard of in those days. They just didn’t happen. They were scandal. All the records of. birth, marriages, deaths, divorces, were destroyed in the earthquake…I was told they were burned. My Grand Mother and her Irish Mother were born in San Francisco, My Grand Mother was born in a house on the corner of California and Hyde. The house burned down in the earth quake years after she was born. My French Jacot Great Grand Father was famous archiect at the time designing many well known buildings in San Francisco. Including one in Golden Gate Park. which still stands. He was wealthy in his own rights.
