[6]Aaron Osgood Morrill was known simply as Osgood Morrill in his adult life, probably to distinguish himself from his father. He was an inventor and manufacturer of carriages. He holds patents No. 274,633, 278,583, 447,591, 471,157, and 492,414 issued between 1883 and 1893, all regarding designs for carriages that can be either single or double seated depending on configuration. According to his death certificate, he died in the Danvers State Insane Asylum in 1910 after 7 years of manic depression. Osgood is buried next to his wife at Mt. Prospect Cemetery in Amesbury.
