David Bradbury Morrill came to Galveston, Texas as a boy and worked as a stage driver, eventually becoming part owner of the stage line. He entered Baylor University in 1849. He became a Baptist minister over a wide range of towns in East Texas. He died in 1868 after riding home in a snowstorm. Samuel B.
