The FamilySearch index of the First Church, Morristown, register records Charlotte King Morrell, an adult baptized 1 May 1813, born 19 Apr 1767. The published register, History of the First Presbyterian Church, Morristown, N.J., Part II (1885), p. 128, gives her age at death, 17 Mar 1816, as 49; a birth of 19 Apr 1767 implies 48 years 10 months, about one month short of the stated age. An age at death is commonly rounded, while a full date is a specific statement, so the date is adopted and the age treated as rounded. The index gives no birth place, so none is asserted. The identification rests on the published register naming Charlotte Morrell, daughter of Jacob of Chatham, wife of Henry King, baptized 1 May 1813.^[4]
