Dudley Kendrick — m. in Dover, Strafford, N.H. (original record: Bristol, N.H.), 1840[18]
Birth-year conflict, resolved as retained pending further record: the tree’s existing birth year for Judith S. Morrill, 1813, carries no citation of its own (origin undocumented, apparently carried over from the tree’s original 2010 compilation). A New Hampshire death record (2 Aug 1869, Sutton, Merrimack Co., NH; FamilySearch “New Hampshire, Death Records, 1654-1947”, derivative, secondary information, QUAY 2) states her age at death as 51 years, implying a birth year of ABT 1818 — an age-derived estimate, not a birth-record date, and subject to the ordinary few-year drift of informant-reported age at death (the informant was very likely a family member at the time of death, recalling rather than recording an exact birth date). A companion 1840 marriage record’s own FamilySearch Tree attachment separately estimates 1809, an uncited, undocumented collaborative-tree compilation carrying no evidentiary weight of its own. None of the three years — 1809, 1813, 1818 — rests on a record created at or near the time of birth; weighing the usual conflict-resolution criteria (informant, closeness in time, independence, motive), no single value is demonstrably superior, and higher QUAY is not by itself grounds to prefer one. The existing uncited 1813 is therefore neither confirmed nor overturned by this record and is retained pending an actual birth, baptismal, or town-clerk vital record for Warner, NH, ABT 1813-1818; this note preserves both alternative years and their basis for any future reviewer.[19]
