Amos Morrill is found receiving a pension in 1835 for service in the Revolutionary War as a private in the Massachusetts Continental Line and Militia, aged 71. Pension Roll of 1835. [6]

Amos Morrill of Salisbury enlisted in the Revolutionary War four times between 1778 and 1780. He served under Col. Gerrish, Col. Wade, Col. Gerrish again, and Col. Shephard. He was not engaged in any battles.
