The obituary of John B. Morrill reads, “In Salisbury, on the 15th inst. John B. Morrill, son of Ephraim M. Esq. aged 24. It is but justice to the memory of Mr. Morrill to say that in his death not only his friends and acquaintenance but society in general have sustained a severe loss. He was a young man, esteemed for his virtues, dear to his surviving relatives, for his filial and fraternal affection, and one whose death will be deeply lamented and long deplored by all whom he was acquainted.
