  5. The obituary of Abigail (Stevens) Morrill reads, “In this town on Tuesday last, of consumption, Mrs. Nabby Morrill, consort of Mr. John Morrill, in the 43d year of her age. In manners retired and unassuming, in disposition gentle and affectionate; as a daughter, wife and mother, endearing, tender and discreet. The loss to her bereaved husband and children is irreparable, and will be deeply felt by every relative and friend. The confidence which, during her long and painful illness she reposed in the mercy of God through his Son and Mediator the Lord Jesus Christ, has a consoling influence on the bereaved minds of her surviving family and friends; gives good evidence that their loss is her gain; and that she is now in the full enjoyment of a blissful immortality.
