Jonathan Morrill enlisted as a private in the Revolutionary War in November 1775 for six weeks in the Company commanded by Captain Joseph Page, serving his time in Cambridge and Roxbury. In July 1776, he reenlisted for another three months, serving at Lake Champlain and Fort Ticonderoga in the Regiment commanded by Col. Bayley. In December 1776, he reenlisted for a final three months in the company commanded by Capt. Benjamin Evans and served in New Jersey. [4]
