Joshua Morrill volunteered for service in the Revolutionary War beginning in December 1776 at Salisbury where he resided at the time. He served for three months. He enlisted three more times and served through the year 1780. In the years after his service, he lived in Gilmanton New Hampshire and subsequently Stow Vermont.
