Quebec 1843) as this William’s parents, with an associated 04 Nov 1867 White Co., Illinois marriage to Nancy Jane Garrett. Excluded: this William’s own 1900 census (S00613) gives his father’s and mother’s birthplace as Vermont, but Daniel S. Morrill (@I13545@) was born in Shipton, Quebec (already on file) — a Quebec-born father cannot be the Vermont-born father this William himself reported. The Daniel Smith Morrill/Margaret Cook parentage and the 1867 Garrett marriage in fact belong to @I13549@, a distinct, already-recorded William Morrill (b. 13 Jan 1845, Shipton, Quebec, Daniel’s son via fam @F04787@, m. Nancy Jane Garrett via fam @F04790@) one year older than this William and never otherwise connected to him. The parents of this William (b.
