His own birth and death are taken from a Social Security record that names no wife; it is placed with him by name, his birth at Rosamond, a death in 2006 matching the memorial, and a later residence at Pana. A funeral-home obituary pasted onto a Find a Grave memorial gives her full name as Eleanor Ruth Morrell, born at Pana on 29 November 1918, married to John Wesley Scott on 11 April 1942, and died on 2 January 2015 at Heritage Health in Pana; the 1950 census lists her as Eleanor Scott, aged 31, wife of John W Scott. The ages in all four censuses fit a birth in 1918. Needs independent verification: her birth, marriage and death particulars, which rest on that memorial alone, and her parentage, which rests on census index entries. A son listed as Harvey Jr. in 1930 and Harvey J. in 1940 is also in the household.[12]
