William Cyrus Morrill — m. in Crittenden, Ark., 18 April 1937[4]
William b. in Rutland, Bibb County, Ga., 29 Sep 1892[5]; d. in Wash., District of Columbia, 18 Apr 1938[8]; bur. in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va., [9]; m. (1) in Fulton, Ga., 16 February 1915[11] to Lelia Lula Caldwell.
The 1937 licence names the bride Jessie V. Poland, aged 26, of Memphis; the 1930 census at Memphis lists Virginia J Poland, aged 19, born in Missouri, a daughter of Clifford H and Jessie S Poland; and the 1938 obituary of her husband calls her Mrs Virginia Poland Morrill. Her name is given as Virginia Jessie on the inference that these three records name one woman, since the ages agree and the surname and city are the same. Needs independent verification: a record of her own giving her full name and birth, and her parents.[12]
NOTE: Needs independent verification: the residence of Virginia Jessie Poland rests on United States, Census, 1950 (undetermined information) alone and has not yet been confirmed by a second source.
